DCCC Phantoms 2024 Season Schedule

Get ready for a new baseball season as the Delaware County Community College Phantom Baseball Team hits the field for a highly anticipated 2024 season. Throughout the season, the team will engage in a series of EPAC and Region XIX clashes, as well as challenging non-conference matchups that will put their abilities to the test.

The season kicks off on Saturday, March 2nd with an exciting matchup against the College of Southern Maryland Hawks in LaPlata, MD.

The first home game is a doubleheader slated for Saturday, March 16 against the Knights of Central Penn College, who finished in the Top 15 in the final USCAA Coaches Poll in 2023. The atmosphere promises to be electric as home fans gather to witness the first pitch of what hopes to be an entertaining season.

Home games will be hosted on Marple Campus, providing a fantastic opportunity for local fans and the college community to support the team and experience our Phantoms firsthand.

Keep an eye out for budding rivalry games against former NJCAA Region 19 foe, Manor College. The Phantoms are 3-1 overall in its season series versus the Blue Jays and are slated to play again four times this year. The Blue Jays play its regular season home opening doubleheader at Alverthorpe Park on Saturday, March 9th at 1 pm in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania against our Phantoms. Then, our Phantoms play host to the Blue Jays on Thursday, April 18th in a doubleheader. Our Phantoms, as well as the Blue Jays, feature two former Assistant Coaches of Williamson College of the Trades. Phantoms Coach Ryan Hunter and Coach Charles "PJ" Hackett (Manor) are both first-year head coaches that will face off on opposite sides of the field for the first time in their coaching careers.

The regular season concludes with a final home game on Saturday, May 4 against Patrick Henry College in a doubleheader, creating a memorable send-off for our Sophomores student-athletes and hopefully leaving fans eager for the possibility of postseason play.

As the regular season wraps up, the team aims to set its sights on postseason play. If they secure a spot in the Region XIX Playoffs, fans can anticipate thrilling matchups as the Delaware County Community College Baseball Team strives to return to baseball prominence.
