Martin Surpasses 1,000, Caps Standout DCCC Hoops Career with Honors

Delaware and Chester Counties, PA—Jabree Martin made history and left his mark on Delaware County Community College Men's Basketball program as the Phantoms' first-ever 1,000-point scorer during a season that culminated in seeing him named to the 2025-2026 NJCAA Division III All-EPAC (Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference) First Team and Region 19's All-Region Second Team.

On February 3, Martin's 38-point performance in a road loss to Atlantic Cape Community College took him over the top into the 1,000-point club, rarefied air for a student-athlete at a two-year school.

He finished his career with 1,120 points, scoring 687 in 2025-2026 to lead the highly competitive Region 19 and ranking third among all NJCAA Division III players in scoring average (26.4 ppg). He averaged 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

Martin played in every game and scored more than 30 points in eight contests for the Phantoms as the team rallied around milestone momentum despite a tough season. His season scoring high was 44 points at Cecil College on December 20.

"Having the opportunity to witness the hard work Jabree put in on and off the court has been an absolute positive experience for coaches and his teammates," said DCCC Men's Basketball Head Coach and Athletic Director Dwayne Saunders.

"It was no surprise to me that he was selected," he said. "He earned his accolades through his extraordinary work ethic and talent. I am excited to see what he decides to do next!"

Congratulations, Jabree!
